Hi! I've been playing little Trip (mostly on event posts and mingle posts, mostly with Gold!), but while I've been having Lillie and Buson age normally (Lillie celebrated a birthday, but Buson's a bit more secretive...), I just realized that if I let eight year old Trip grow, he'd soon be another ten year old Trip, but an AU that still mostly kept his open and cheery disposition from when he was eight, with the naievete of a typical Ulternian, even if he'll always be on the shy and solitary side!

Two drawings of Trip, one as a smaller child as seen in anime flashbacks labelled 8 years old, smiling widely with rosy cheeks and closed eyes. The other is lablled 10 years old, with a similar smile and more relaxed closed eyes. Cheeks still a bit rosy, but skin is a bit tanner. Instead of his anime orange suit jacket and black hoodie and purple undershirt combo, Trip is wearing a white kariyushi (Okinawan equivalent of a Hawaiian shirt, also recognized as formal wear) with a pattern based on the Okinawan Pokemon Center kariyushi. There are deep blue tropical flower patterns and a light blue wavy pattern with stylized poleballs. Yellow silhouettes of Pikachu heads, undetailed, with white cheeks. Over the kariyushi is an open reddish orange (... blood orange?) windbreaker. 10 year old Trip further has several allows pointing to him describing him: "tanned" "sun-protection windbreaker" "you could sell him the Skyarrow Bridge in absence of friends & family" [with two sweatdrops next to the statement]

His kariyushi is based on the Okinawa Pokemon Center Kariyushi Wear Pikachu plush! I think one of the mods has a real kariyushi with the same pattern?
