Ulsai! I'm a bit of a DWRP newbie, but I picked up Colress on a whim recently after getting all nostalgic about Gen 5. While I was poking around EMP, I saw this community had posted an ad, and, well... here I am!

My Colress has roots primarily in BW2 game canon, but I take a little influence from Pokémon Special too (especially Colress and Interpol coming to a mutually beneficial arrangement — it would account for why he hasn't been apprehended by the Powers That Be, lol). You can see his current team here, although he's interested in learning more about Ultern's unique locations, inhabitants, and everything else it has to offer in the way of research as well. After all, we're talking about the guy who was "so engrossed in my research that I didn't get a wink of sleep last night"!

Anyway, that's it. I might post a starter or tag around in the next few days, depending on IRL factors. I can be reached here via PM or on Discord once I get to know people a little more. Until then, thanks for reading!

You're doing an amazing job already, welcome, welcome! ^_^ Pfft, my characters are pretty much all anipoke ones since I like the anime best, so it'll be a bit of a shock for Iris that Colress never went to jail! But he's roughly the same sort of polite, but amoral, while not necessarily evil (just opportunistic and unconcerned with morality, favouring scientific advancement and satisfying his curiosity above all else) character in all versions at heart! ^^

I used to play him too, but never here, so it's fun seeing another Colress!!

I'm Lamees (Lala, etc.) and in Ultern, I play Iris, Georgia, Buson (Attila), Trip (although I've let him go back home, his younger self is still around sometimes, I should actually make a post sometime...), and Fuji Ai (Amber Fuji—daughter of another late scientist who made some bad decisions, aha...)...

Thank you! And yeah, lmao, it's really funny that they just let him skate by in the game canon. Guess he'll just hang out on the Plasma Frigate until he gets bored and moves somewhere else?? Interpol you are taking a big chance on this man. _{This is why I accept the manga interpretation for why he's still roaming around in the world}

He is extraordinarily fun to play. The only other characters I've played from Pokémon are Looker (from the DS games continuity) and Courtney (from OR/AS), but Colress has been his own brand of quirky that I really enjoy. Not too dissimilar to Courtney, now that I'm thinking about it, but more expressive and fun than emotionless and slightly yandere, heh.
