Happy one year anniversary, Faraway Place! I love this place and appreciate everyone I play with! ;3;

Thank you, Spagonia and Mukkuru, for such a lovely game and for being such good friends, too! You inspire so much creativity and you captured everything lovable about this franchise and the anime and it's so good, it makes the end of Satoshi/Ash's journey a lot easier, since we can always have more fun with the old characters here! The journey continues. ;3;
I'm grateful for having somewhere I can play with my old bashou too, it's been like a dream.

Now, the reason I gave this its own post... lots and lots of doodles (the images are huge and heavy, so under the cut!)


radleyslittleevie is always so heartwarming and cute, thank you for the unexpectly cute bond with Buson. It only just came to me that it's funny that one of the first Pokemon he befriended in this place is a fox too... so on-brand given Bashou's a kitsune and Buson's a tanuki, archtype-wise. Her crush on her trainer's so cute and reminds me of Chikorita/Bayleef and she's just such a ray of sunshine and positivity, even though she's always missing her trainer. ;///; Brave, bright, little Eevee...
I'm sorry Buson's recent trip is gonna end in him DYING, but at least it's temporary??? He'll be back! And will have learned a valuable lesson, maybe, like don't mess with the mystery dungeons, don't they wish they had Evie around this time to act as the conscience/moral fiber of the group...

Shout-out to Manzana of the Ultern NPCs for taking Buson in and making a decent working man out of a wary criminal, PFFT. Manzana and Buson are very cute bros. I already draw them a lot, so have some old art.


gold_drum has been such a good friend to Trip and a sweet and caring older friend for Ai. ;3; It's been a lot of fun bouncing off your muses, including Ken, and good luck meeting Bashou!!

ateamrocket we might not get to play as much, but Mayday's an endearing little menace and it's sweet seeing her relax a little more. I'm sorry about your villainous decay arc and being reduced to grade schoolers/primary school students' kimodameshi/test of courage, it's hilarious, though. The indignity of it all! She could Cut you! Go away!!! Grrr.

Little Miss Calla (squaredup, taking tips on how to not be a sitting duck for crooks from a self-confessed crook (reformed, sorta, here, anyway), very seriously, while wearing a sailor's neck kerchief as makeshift bandana, with a slightly sunburnt nose.

domeinion, our resident nerd with the very complicated lore, Alice. I'm sorry my characters have either hurt Alice's feelings via forced truth event or reopen old wounds with questionable motives... everybody regrets it. ^o^;

I couldn't possibly draw everyone, so just know if we play together, you're appreciated!! (Also, some, I already draw frequently or semi-frequently, so they also got exempt...)

Bonus doodle from yesterday between patients: just a happy Lillie splashing around, with her little curled-up, paw-like hands she does sometimes. I had Ultern in mind while drawing her!! It's funny, I decided to finally let Lillie go back home, but I already miss her, so now that she's had her fill of time with her family, let's bring her back, happier and brighter!

Your style is as cute as ever! I already told you my thoughts on the Gold and Ai drawing, but besides that, I think the last Lillie drawing is my favorite! The way Calla's drawn also draws my eye, that's a great expression!

edit: And just as I left the comment you updated it with another drawing, of one of my favorite Gold moments too! That was the most magical "hey man what's good" in existence and you captured it so well!

Thank you! It did come out quite nicely, it was a great bit of stress relief and I was drawing on a proper desk, so it came out neater!

That picture of Lillie is great, you can really see the joy on her face! (Lord knows that girl deserves to be happy after, uh, the whole Lusamine Thing.)

And Calla! My girl looks so cute all scrunchy-faced and serious! It looks just like the sort of face my sister would make when we were kids and she was thinking real hard. All this art has made my day so much better. ;_;

Awww, these are all adorable! I love the Evie doodles so much! Thank you! I love her interaction with Buson too! I've had such fun creating her and giving her a voice.

There are multiple official Pokemon manga, but I'm assuming you mean PokeSupe/Pokemon Adventures, since that's what most English speakers are familiar with? ^^ Thank you! A comparison to a published manga is pretty high praise!!

Might be because these are drawn more round and soft, aha, not all of my art's drawn like that! Like some of the art I shared in other posts.

I actually first encountered the manga in Taiwan, but Supe/Adventures is also the main translated manga there, so yeah! And yeah, I can also see how the line style would make it look similar.
