Hey there! I'm Thalia and I've been eying this place for a little bit. I have a couple old pokemon accounts but I couldn't decide who to bring. But I was rewatching some of the Poketoons shorts the other day and decided that Blossom would be super fun to play as! (If you're unfamiliar you can watch the short she's from here! It's only thirteen minutes long and really cute).

She is I guess vaguely AU? I've expanded her team a bit in a way I feel is a realistic 'evolution' (ha) to where she might be if she's been on her adventure for a w while now.

Hello! I play Evie, Chloe, and her Eevee. I can't get enough of the little darlings and am just starting to create a new Eevee character based on an adorable shirt sold on Etsy, where Eevee runs a diner. This is Eadie. She runs a diner and is a very motherly sort of Eevee. She will be able to magically talk like Evie, if that's okay. Better for communication!

Hi, this is Lala again! Am I terrible at balancing multiple muses and show clear bias? Yes. Am I still going to bring in another character? Also, yes. I don't know if she'll stick around for long, but Georgia's hilarious and great fun, so here's another tsundere BW! rival. She's rude, she's loud, she steals shamelessly, but she also cares a lot! She favours Ice and Steel types and she's Iris' main rival. ^^

Thank you, Spagonia and Mukkuru, for such a lovely game and for being such good friends, too! You inspire so much creativity and you captured everything lovable about this franchise and the anime and it's so good, it makes the end of Satoshi/Ash's journey a lot easier, since we can always have more fun with the old characters here! The journey continues. ;3;

Wow, it’s almost a full year since Faraway Place has opened–nife debiru, thank you all who have been with us throughout this ride, and to our new players as well!

We will have an anniversary post popping up on the 20th (tomorrow!). It will be time for a summer festival, yet again!

Ulsai everyone! I've finally gotten off my butt to join this comm, and I'm starting off by bringing in one of my OCs, Nathaniel Berger. He's from a post-apocalyptic PTU game that involved many of the legendaries being killed off and the attempts to fix it, as part of the group trying to bring the legendaries back and protect the still-living ones. He was also badly injured as a child when he tried to fight them when they first emerged, and both the physical and mental trauma still affects him. Please let me know in his permissions post if you'd rather not engage with that side of his backstory!

He's also the guardian of the newly reborn Zapdos, or Brinda as he calls them. They can take on human form and will also be posting here on occasion, under the username

loudvoiceloudbabybird! Developmentally they're approximately a teenager, and very enthusiastic about having hands and also just being able to go around without everyone's jaws dropping in awe.

In a few days, I will also have the longest time off I've had in ages, too (maybe they're making up for flooding my schedule early this last week), so looking forward to playing more. ^^

He's only committed a crime, like, once, on arrival (... unless he goes through with this very ill-advised plan to take Jirachi in a desperate attempt to make money and escape TR back home ~~and hopefully, he won't actually go through with it, his conscience is gnawing at him and it's so innocent and Evie-like too...~~) and only a couple of Pokemon (and, uh, all those wild Electric types) and a police officer know how he looks, so teeechnically, he wasn't ever caught... ^^;;;

Hello, bonjour, and ulsai! My name’s Fleda, and I come bearing a Nuzlocke protagonist in tribute. This here is Leaf (going by the name Calla because the flower symbolizes both life and death ~~and I am a sucker for ironic names for game protagonists~~) She’s specifically from the FireRed/LeafGreen generation and thus will be a little bit more than baffled by fancy tech. She likes training her Pokémon, long walks, and lemonade.

I’m still setting up her journal, but it’s nice to meet you all. Looking forward to playing with you all! And apologies in advance for the rambling; fighting a wicked bit of heat-induced insomnia at the moment (yay, desert life).

Two things! I’ll let Buson go home for a few days (so he can finish the unsuccessful Raikou mission, and then, however many off-screen missions and events take place between then and the successful Rayquaza mission) and then come back… he’ll probably be quite disoriented and might need to re-adjust to peaceful living and will probably feel even more unworthy of all of this on returning, but… but he’ll still be happy to be back!

This way, both him and Bashou have experienced the same Raikou mission in full, but Buson will also feel he’s been gone a lot longer (but time flows differently, so it’s just a few days here in Ultern…).

The other thing, have some roleplay-based art, a lot of which I already share on plurk (

muteswans), but some concern characters who I don’t have added there, like Evie, so here, it’ll go!

Quick note from me (

bashou's writer) to say that I'm bringing in my version of Volo - another villain, technically, but a very squishy one.

He has been drifted through a couple (?) of centuries to get to Ultern, so...expect him to be shocked and confused by things like short-shorts, motorboats, automatic doors, televisions, grocery stores, amusement parks, social media, the idea of children raising Pokémon...

On a more serious note: it's difficult to write anything involving Volo, without major Pokemon Legends: Arceus spoilers. So please let me know if you want to opt out!

I really wanted to bring this character in for a long time, but I was already having trouble juggling characters... right now, with Buson/Attila being more of my main muse and Mairin and Lillie being easier secondary ones, I think I'll send my previous main muse, Trip, home. He's missed Unova for a long while! ;3; His newly caught Tepig will join him there. Thanks for being good friends with my not-very-sociable little brat, fff. He will carry your lessons with him!

This is Fuji Ai (Amber Fuji), also known as Aitwo (Ambertwo), but she's really just Ai at heart... the little girl whose tragic death pushed Dr. Fuji to accept funding from Giovanni of Team Rocket to support his research into cloning. Giovanni got Mewtwo out of it and Dr. Fuji hoped to get his daughter back... she's only in this short introduction not included in the dub of the English movie, but the cut movie segment was later dubbed and released with Mewtwo Returns!
She was also given more of a role in the CD Drama which was never translated officially, but fan-made translations exist. ^^ I draw on some aspects of that version, as long as it doesn't conflict, for additional canon information.

Ai's a playful and imaginative, yet also very patient and motherly little girl who's simultaneously very innocent and wise (... because her father has been trying, unsuccessfully, to clone her for, oh, about eight years... she only lives four years each time and dies inside the culture, never exiting into the outside world unlike Mewtwo—spiritually, but she remembers everything and is the same Ai that died in the crash... of course, she still looks and mostly acts about eight, since her whole life's basically left in suspense and she mostly lives in her own memories and imagination! ^^;;;)

Here in Ultern, she'll be a living, breathing, little girl again and not just a soul or a body that cannot exist outside of suspension fluid/culture media, of course!! She'll just. Still have all those memories... :D;;;;

She's the one who introduced to Mewtwo the concepts of God, parents, etc., that he asks about early in the (Japanese) version of the film, although he has forgotten her, she left an undeniable impact on him!

My name's Simone, long-time RPer but brand new to Dreamwidth and DWRP! Just wanted to drop in and say hi while I lurk a bit and learn the ropes.

I'm bringing in Bashou (also known as Hun), Team Rocket Agent and work partner to Attila/Buson. I've been writing a version of this character for a few years on other platforms but this should be a new and interesting experience!
